Born in 1945 in Wujiang Village, Yuli Township, Hualien County, Republic of China.
Graduated from Yuli Elementary School, Junior High, Senior High, the Fine Arts Department (2nd class) of Chinese Culture University, and the Fine Arts Graduate Institute (9th class).
