看見未來的曙光--賴清德序
臺南有著深刻的歷史紋理與涵養，藝術文化的氣質彷彿根深蒂固地存在這塊土地上，孕育了無數的大師，也深深地影響造訪過、生活在這塊土地上的人們。
藝術家蘇奕榮1960年生於臺南望族，是被譽為「半導體女王」享譽國際的AMD執行長蘇姿丰女士的堂哥，從蘇姿丰1969年在臺南出生、舉家移民美國，到日前返臺接受陽明交大名譽博士、蘇奕榮特別到場祝賀，家族之間始終有著凝聚力，感情融洽。2018年時蘇姿丰與她時任紐約臺灣會館理事長的父親蘇春槐、母親羅淑雅，一起獲頒為臺南市卓越市民，成為首次有全家同時獲獎的紀錄。蘇家人對臺南的貢獻，有目共睹。
蘇奕榮在藝術方面也卓有成就，除了遊歷世界各地，創作量驚人，在畫壇上也屢有佳績，並擔任各項藝文團體要職，致力推動藝文發展。我在2011年擔任臺南市長時，當時蘇奕榮擔任府城人物畫會理事長，特別發起募款活動援助日本仙台震災，共募得新臺幣275萬餘元，我當時代表市府受贈，深受感動。2013年特別聘請蘇奕榮擔任臺南市工商發展投資策進會委員，為臺南的產業發展盡一份心力。
臺南能夠在各個領域嶄露頭角，絕非偶然。這是一塊土地的生命力，具體顯現在人們的生活態度。臺南有著尊重傳統、珍惜文化的特質，卻又同時求新、求變、求進步。欣聞藝術家蘇奕榮迭有新作，感佩他在藝術道路上的耕耘與付出，期待未來更上一層樓，與更多朋友分享他的藝術成就。

Seeing the Dawn of the Future

Tainan bears profound historical texture and nurturing, with the temperament of art and culture seemingly ingrained in this land, nurturing countless masters and deeply influencing those who have visited or lived in this land.
The artist Su I-Jung, born in 1960 in a prominent family in Tainan, is the cousin of Ms. Lisa Su, acclaimed internationally as the "Semiconductor Queen" and CEO of AMD. The family has always maintained cohesion and harmony, evident from the special bond between them. In 2018, Lisa Su, along with her father, Su Chun-Huai, then chairman of the New York Taiwan Center, and her mother, Lo Shu-Ya, were jointly awarded the title of Outstanding Citizens of Tainan, marking the first time an entire family received such an honor simultaneously. The contributions of the Su family to Tainan are widely recognized.
Su I-Jung has also achieved remarkable success in the arts. Apart from traveling extensively and producing a remarkable body of work, he has also achieved notable success in the art scene and held various leadership positions in arts and cultural organizations, dedicated to promoting the development of arts and culture. When I served as the mayor of Tainan in 2011, Su I-Jung, then chairman of the Fucheng Portrait Society, initiated a fundraising campaign to assist the victims of the Sendai earthquake in Japan, raising over 2.75 million NTD. I was deeply moved to receive it on behalf of the city government. In 2013, Su I-Jung was specially appointed as a member of the Tainan Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Association, contributing his efforts to the industrial development of Tainan.
Tainan's prominence in various fields is not an accident. It is the vitality of a land, tangibly manifested in people's attitudes towards life. I am delighted to hear of the continuous creation of new works by the artist Su I-Jung and admire his dedication and contributions to the path of art. I look forward to seeing him reach new heights in the future and sharing his artistic achievements with more friends.
